As our new Branch Manager Turkey, you are responsible for translating our global strategy to a successful approach for the Turkey horticultural market and organisation. Together with the Commercial Director International and your local team (± 12 FTE), you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a winning sales, export and sourcing strategy and an accompanying operational plan. And of course for building a winning team.
This also means the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an operational plan for the Turkish horticultural market with the aim of building a structural profitable business with a turnover growth to 10 Million Euro in the next couple of years. The Operational Plan includes among others: a fact based product market segmentation, an accompanying local sales, export & marketing approach and operational plan, a multi-year budget and a future proof organisational structure. Also manage the budget by reviewing financial statements, sales reports, activity reports and other performance data and acting accordingly. Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Initiate, coordinate and execute business activities concerning the pricing, sales and distribution of the Industry's leading Horticultural products & services. Drive continuous improvement to ensure consistent quality and yield to meet the demands of the Turkish horticultural market. Build and sustain good personal relationship to top customers and other relevant industry partners as greenhouse builders, seed companies, nurseries, suppliers, authorities and horticultural press.
- Build and execute a successful dual and local sourcing strategy.
- Initiate export activities. Develop product portfolio for export accompanied with the required processes to develop Royal Brinkman Turkey into a significant export branch, facilitating all other branches and the head office.
- Manage all operational activities to achieve company objectives, including purchase, logistics, inventory, overall finance, housing, staffing, etc. Ensure the evaluation and continuous improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of all sales, sourcing and operational processes. Align with fellow branch managers, with product management, purchase, Finance, HR and other specialists at HQ to share knowledge and find the best synergy.
- Build a professional and inspiring working environment by nurturing the strong current team and develop the team further in line with the organisation’s growth ambitions. Take a leading role in the recruitment, training, coaching and performance management of individual employees.
